Quarterly Course Offerings
The Quarterly Course Offerings document is a list of courses approved for the International Migration Studies minor, updated each quarter.

Note that this list includes courses that are on the Minor Worksheet which will automatically apply towards minor requirements on your DAR.

It also includes Additional Courses that the Chair has approved for a particular quarter. Additional Courses are newly approved courses that do not appear on the Minor Worksheet, or variable topic courses which are approved quarterly, and only for particular sections. Unlike the courses listed on the Minor Worksheet, however, courses designated as Additional Courses might not automatically apply towards minor requirements on your DAR. If you enroll in any course that falls into this category, and that course does not post towards your minor requirements as expected, you must notify us by sending an email to advising@international.ucla.edu (be sure to include your UID#!) asking us to update your DAR.

A special note about Variable Topic courses. As there might be multiple offerings under the same course number (with different topics), be sure to enroll in the specific section mentioned below. As these are also Additional Courses, please refer to the above for required steps you may have to take to have the course apply to minor requirements on your DAR.

Please always refer to the Class Notes on the Schedule of Classes for information on a particular course's enrollment restrictions and prerequisites. Note that some departments restrict enrollment to their majors on 1st pass (e.g., Sociology, History, Political Science, etc.) but should open up to other majors on 2nd pass. For any enrollment issues you might have in a particular course, please consult the department offering the course.

Note, too, that departments may add courses to the Schedule of Classes after this list has been compiled, so you may wish to do an additional search on your own.
