Chris Dietrich is a historian at Fordham University. His first book, Oil Revolution: Anticolonial Elites, Sovereign Rights, and the Economic Culture of Decolonization was published by Cambridge University Press in 2017. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and Grinnell College, he has published articles in Diplomatic History, The International History Review, Itinerario, and elsewhere.
