UCLA CNES Programs Postponed

Dear UCLA Center for Near Eastern Studies community,

UCLA Chancellor Gene Block informed the campus community that effective March 11, UCLA is transitioning to online learning platforms and limiting the number of people on campus in order to curb the spread of the Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19. These changes will continue until at least the end of spring quarter.

While there are no confirmed cases at UCLA at this time, most CNES sponsored programs scheduled through the end of spring quarter have been canceled out of an abundance of caution.

Thank you for your attention and support.

Sincerely,

Ali Behdad
Professor and John Charles Hillis Chair in Literature
