The UCLA Department of Art New Wight Biennial is an exhibition curated by the Department of Art graduate students and features graduate students from art programs around the world. This year the exhibition focuses on the contemporary resonances of the Non-Aligned Movement. It engages with how the political project of Non-Alignment finds itself articulated in the aesthetic, formal, social, economic and political articulations of contemporary art today. This year the exhibition will be entirely online and accompanied by a series of panels, workshops and talks accessible through zoom.
