Cindy Fan Ph.D. in Geography, Ohio State University

Vice Provost Cindy Fan is a co-founder of UCLA Global Classroom. She is UCLA’s senior international officer (SIO) and is responsible for the university’s global strategy, international partnerships, and global engagement. She is also a Professor of Geography with research interests in migration, regional development, and gender in China.

Justin Zackey Ph.D. in Geography, UCLA

Dr. Justin Zackey is a co-founder of UCLA Global Classroom and continues to be involved in UCLA’s international efforts in education, exchange, and outreach. He also lectures in the Department of Geography.

UCLA Global Classroom's Faculty Advisory Committee comprises leading scholars from departments across the campus. The Committee receives and reviews updates and reports about the program, advises the Director and Executive Director on programmatic matters, and participates in oversight of academic standards of the program.
