    Established in 2008, Soong Ching Ling School (SCLS) partners with UCLA Global Classroom, offering K-12 education to over 900 students worldwide.

About the Soong Ching Ling School

Named after Madame Soong Ching Ling (宋庆龄), the former Honorary Chairwoman of China, Soong Ching Ling School (SCLS) was established in 2008 and houses both a K-12 Domestic and K-12 International Division.  SCLS currently enrolls over 900 students, from 22 countries and regions, and has over 150 faculty and staff, about a third of whom are foreign teachers.

The China Welfare Institute (中国福利会), founded in 1938 by Madame Soong Ching Ling, is the parent organization of SCLS and dedicated to carrying out Madame Soong Ching Ling’s educational philosophy of advancing knowledge and promoting learning across cultures.

 

About Soong Ching Ling-UCLA Global Classroom Program
