How to add an image or video slideshow to an article
To add an image or video slideshow to your article, on the Edit Article page, scroll down to the Advanced Media Files section. On an important note, you should remember that the content of this section will be available only after you save the article at least once.
Simply select the type of media you want from the dropdown menu and fill in the fields that appear (title, caption, description as you wish), and click on Choose File to upload the file.
Accepted file types:
- Images: .gif, .jpg or .png
- Videos: .mp4 or .mov
Now you can add other files by repeating these steps. In the end, you will see them all listed in this section. Make sure you click Save, otherwise your slideshow will not appear.
Now let’s see how it is displayed on the International Institute article page.
Here you see the slideshow on top of the article page: the slider, the title displayed as shown, and the slider switches to the next image. You can also move back and forward with the arrows on the sides.
If you go back to the Edit Article page and scroll down to Advanced Media Files section… here, you have the option to add videos to this slider, or create a video slideshow from scratch. In other words, by selecting Slideshow_Image or Slideshow_Video in the advanced media dropdown, you can create an image or video slideshow, or a slideshow of both.
You simply repeat the same process to add a video. You should remember to save the page.
Here we have a video added to our slideshow, which will be displayed the same way.

How to add an image album to an article
To add an image album to your article, on the Edit Article page, scroll down to the Advanced Media Files section. On an important note, you should remember that content of this section will be available to view only after you save the article.
On the Advanced Media Files dropdown, we will pick Album_Image. Just like we did for the image or video slideshow, we will type in the Title. You can enter a Caption and Description too. Then select the image file and save it.
Accepted file types:
- Images: .gif, .jpg or .png
To add another image, repeat the process. When you are done, make sure you click on Save, otherwise it will not work.
Now all your album images are listed here. Let’s see the preview of this album on the International Institute site.
Here is how you view the pictures in the album. If you click on one of the photos, you can see a larger preview of that photo. You can use the arrows to go back and forth to view other photos. You can click on X on top corner to go back to the article.
