How to create a center/program
To create a center/program on Webtools, you should click the Centers & Groups link in the Directory module box and click New Center. On the Add Center page, you will find three sections: Center Properties, Contact Information, and Admin Information.
There are five required fields in the Basic Information section: Active, Official Center and Title VI Center fields are for administrative purposes, are indicated with asterisks and must be filled out. Anything else you see on the page is optional.
Contact Information is usually displayed in the footer of the center/program website, as well as on the People page of the UCLA International Institute website, so we recommend that you fill out this section fully as well.
These instructions are all you need to create a center/program. Finally, after you are done, you should always remember to click Save, OK on the confirmation prompt, then Exit.

How to edit a center/program
In order to edit the properties of a center on Webtools, go to Centers & Groups from the homepage and locate the center/program you want to edit. If you like, you can search by Center Title as well.
Once you locate the desired center/program, click the Properties link in the Action column. Here you are at the Edit Properties page, where you can find the same fields as you used to create the center. If you would like to view and manage groups created under that center/program, click Manage Groups in the Action column on the Centers & Groups page.
For safer editing, please remember to click the Save button on top of the page frequently.
