How to indicate cost, special instructions, location, and contact information
There are several fields specific to Events for additional information you might want to include in your event.
If you want to specify the per participant cost or special instructions, scroll down to the Event Details section. Here you can type in the Cost followed by the currency sign. Special Instructions may include information such as parking, directions, ticketing and specific announcements.
You can add location information via the Location section below Event Details. Enter all info including the address, city, state, zip code and country for it to be properly displayed on the event page according to the center's website design.
Finally, you may want to enter the information of a contact person for the event by using the Contact Information section under Location. Just fill in the fields: Name, telephone, email address, and website address. You should remember to not put in http:// when you enter a website address.

How to manage sponsors and non-sponsoring related centers
On the display event pages of the UCLA International Institute and some other centers/programs, the hosting center/program's name is mentioned automatically. In addition to the hosting center/program, if there are any sponsors you would like to mention, you can use the Sponsors section as long as your website design allows showing this additional information.
Here, select all Centers or UCLA Departments that are sponsoring the event from the appropriate checkbox list. If your sponsor is not listed on either Centers or UCLA Departments lists, you can type their name in the External Sponsors text box. If there are multiple external sponsors, you can separate them with commas. Finally, if it is a non-UCLA event, please check the Non-UCLA Event checkbox. This gives us the ability to distinguish between UCLA and non-UCLA events when displaying them on center/program websites.
If a center/program is associated with an event but is not an official sponsor, choose that center from the Centers checkbox list under the Related Centers (Non-Sponsors) section. For instance, if a center would like to help publicize the event on their website but they are not an official sponsor, this is a way to achieve that.
Here is how an event with additional sponsor information is displayed on the Latin America Institute event page.
